    A team from the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) is utilizing robotics to help keep U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) team members out of harm’s way and enable successful completion of the Corps’ vital civil works mission.

  • District schedules Craney Island mosquito treatment for July 19

    NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, will conduct joint aerial mosquito spraying tomorrow, July 19 over federal properties on Craney Island, adjacent city properties, and the Churchland area in Portsmouth. This treatment is the backup treatment that did not occur on July 10-16 due to unfavorable conditions.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering With Nature (EWN) program enables more sustainable delivery of economic, social and environmental benefits associated with infrastructure. For more than 10 years, the program has grown substantially garnering support from collaborative partners from around the world and recently reaching all the way to the White House.
  • Huntsville Center’s Human Capital and Resource Management Business Practices Division team built the first ever online “Welcome2IT” dashboard to simplify in-processing procedures. The site and process was recognized as one of the five 2022 U.S. Army Corps of Engineer’s Innovation of the Year Awards.
