The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Transatlantic Division’s mission has grown exponentially over the past half a century. As the operating environment changes, our approach to engineering and construction project execution changes commensurate with that environment.
The Transatlantic Division Team of Teams:
Provides direct support to U.S. Central Command, its components, and the Joint Interagency Intergovernmental Multi-national (JIIM) community partners, to enable success across all phases of the National Defense Strategy.
Enables the U.S. Special Operations Command’s construction program through Command-to-Command centralized planning/program processes while sustaining decentralized execution, leveraging geographically partnered relationships.
The engineering, design and construction capabilities the Transatlantic Division provides have a substantial impact in the U.S. Central Command area of operations and the Nation.
These capabilities include:
Engineering and Design
Horizontal and Vertical Construction
Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
Water Resources Expertise
As well as additional Specialized Capabilities:
Technical Center of Expertise for Aircraft Hangar Fire Protection
Center of Standardization for Non-Permanent Facilities
Deployment Administration Resource Team (DART)
