Pardon Our Progress: Our webpage is currently under construction. But no worries, we have our best engineering and construction teams engaged! Building Strong!

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Transatlantic Division provides engineering and design solutions for our mission partner’s toughest full spectrum challenges in one of the most dynamic construction environments on earth.

With oversight of nearly $5 billion in projects throughout the U.S. Central Command’s area of responsibility, as well as dedicated support to the U.S. Special Operations Command, we combine dedicated and expeditionary district capabilities, partnering in peace and war, to deliver innovative, resilient, and sustainable solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense and the nation; and establish the conditions for regional security and stability throughout the Middle East and Central Asia.

The Division delivers its program through two districts, the Transatlantic Middle East District, headquartered in Virginia, and the Transatlantic Expeditionary District, headquartered in Kuwait, which combined the Division’s contingency operations assets as one optimized command.

Partnership in Action

Working alongside our Mission Partners, both stateside and abroad, is an opportunity and privilege. We listen to our partners to ensure we are doing what is right for each program and project, reaching for success at all levels.

Through mutual cooperation, transparent communication and hard work, we achieve our partner’s goals over the life of the project and simultaneously build lasting relationships that build the foundations of not just our future but the future of our nation and our allied partner nations.

We Focus on Three Vital Areas:

Collapse All Expand All
Demonstrate new capabilities and maintain our core, technical competencies.

We embrace emerging engineering & technology challenges, maintaining and retaining our core competencies while demonstrating innovation and agility.

Ensure we are meeting our mission partner’s needs and expectations.

We work in a dynamic challenging environment. We remain aware of the changes in our partner’s environment to ensure we are doing all we can to reach project success while maintaining excellent stakeholder communication, customer service and project safety.

Foster conditions to remain postured as the mission partner of choice.

The heart and backbone of the Transatlantic Division is its workforce. Providing training, education, professional development and mentoring programs, treating all with dignity and respect and developing incentive programs to recruit and maintain employees ensures we maintain a diverse, innovative, flexible, competent and engaged workforce.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Transatlantic Division’s mission has grown exponentially over the past half a century. As the operating environment changes, our approach to engineering and construction project execution changes commensurate with that environment.
