    ELLSWORTH AIR FORCE BASE, S.D. – Team members from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District joined representatives from the U.S. Air Force’s 28th Bomb Wing, Air Force Global Strike Command, and commercial construction project management teams, Dec. 3, 2024, at Ellsworth Air Force Base for a runway replacement project rehearsal of concept meeting.

    USACE Chief of Engineers visits Chickamauga Lock Replacement Project

    Lt. Gen. William H. "Butch" Graham Jr., U.S. Army Corps of Engineers commanding general and 56th chief of engineers, visited the Chickamauga Lock Replacement Project Dec. 19 to meet with Nashville District leadership and staff, gain insight into the ongoing construction project, and observe operational processes firsthand.

    Navigating Army Resources: From Military Service to Civilian Careers

    Picture the sun rising over a bustling café, two military members settled into a corner table, engaged in a conversation that reflects a pressing concern for many service members: life after military service. While one service member expresses concern over whether his 15 years of uniformed experience will translate into civilian job opportunities, the other service member is concerned with finding resources to expand her knowledge and technical skills desired before heading to the Captain’s Career Course.
