    The Corps provides support to Historical Barksdale Air Force Base

    An International Forum aimed “towards a secure energy supply in a net zero emission society” was held in Frankfurt, Germany, January 23-25, 2023. The event was organized by the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL), along with the House of Energy e.V. to fight climate change and support energy security on the local level.

    Nashville District names Daulton Employee of the Month for November 2022

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 6, 2023) – Judy Daulton, a park ranger at Lake Cumberland, Wolf Creek Resources in the Operations Division is named U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District Employee of the Month for November 2022. She is recognized primarily for her quick thinking and conflict resolution skills leading to the de-escalation of an argument between a contractor and visitor of Kendall Recreation Area.

    USACE moving forward: San Juan Harbor Improvements Project Partnership Agreement

    San Juan, Puerto Rico., Jan. 31, 2023 – The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District and Puerto Rico Port Authority joined forces in a brief ceremony and signed a Project Partnership Agreement as a way forward towards the improvement of San Juan Harbor, in San Juan, Puerto Rico Jan. 30, 2023.
