    Contracting officer creates howling good time for kids

    Huntsville Center, Energy Division contracting officer entertained children at Organizational Day and Team Redstone in the Park by transforming into Sergeant Woof. Woof is a dog who teaches children about the dangers of unexploded ordnance and the three R’s of ordnance safety: recognize, retreat and report.

    Illustrious career keeps growing and growing

    SAVANNAH, Ga. – Aaron Wahus’ 23-year Corps career matured into a park operations manager assignment at J. Strom Thurmond Project but his insatiable craving for new challenges made room for another career growth spurt. For four months, Wahus strengthened his functional muscle during a grooming assignment as head of the Baltimore District’s Tioga-Hammond and Cowanesque projects from Feb. 21 – June 19.

    The Far East District employs a talented and hard-working group of mechanics who maintain a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment. To keep their skills sharp, the motor pool team attends training both locally and abroad.
