    Forum focuses on woman owned business

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 13, 2013) – More than 250 business owners and managers received extensive information about woman owned business opportunities within the federal, state and local procurement systems during the 2nd Annual Small Business Training Forum today at the Tennessee State University Avon Williams Campus.

    MONTECELLO, Ky. (March 13, 2013) – U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Nashville District representatives presented Officers from the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resource with the Great Lakes and Ohio Division 2012 Water Safety Award.
  • Carolyn Bauer, a former Lake Cumberland park ranger who recently retired from the Corps in March with 35 years of service, talks March 13, 2013 as an honorary display wall is unveiled to commemorate the service of park rangers at the Lake Cumberland Visitor's Center. She called Wallace Halcomb, who was honored, a great teacher, a mentor and a fun-loving family man. Current and former park rangers, employees, family members and friends commemorated the service of park rangers over the decades as environmental regulators and guardians of historic lands.

    Greers Ferry Dam 50th Anniversary 1963-2013

    Join us at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 3 in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Greers Ferry Dam Dedication at the JFK Overlook in Heber Springs, Ark. The dedication ceremony was President John F. Kennedy's last dedication and one of his final public appearances before he was assassinated in Dallas Nov. 22, 1963.
