    Battle Lab Collaborative Simulation Environment offers ERDC new capabilities

    The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) is now part of the Army Battle Lab Collaborative Simulation Environment (BLCSE), a closed restricted network that connects a variety of organizations and enables experimentation, prototyping and collaboration. Managed by the Army Futures Command, the BLCSE is in the process of being expanded to include new groups. The ERDC’s designation as a node within the network allows team members to utilize the BLCSE as they plan and execute programs, identify new opportunities to contribute to ongoing initiatives and help inform senior leader decisions.

  • Louisville District completes battle course at Fort Campbell

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District completed construction of a $6.3 million Automated Infantry Platoon Battle Course with Range Operations Control Area at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, which will allow platoons to conduct individual and collective maneuvers to defeat a variety of threats.

    USACE volunteers apply coat of care during 2021 Paint-A-Thon

    Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District participated in The 2021 Paint-A-Thon held Aug. 21. The event, also known as “Brush-up”, is an annual event sponsored by Project Houseworks. It is designed to give volunteers the opportunity to paint the homes of low-income, disabled and elderly homeowners so that they can stay in them as long as possible.

    District welcomes 542nd FEST-A Team home

    Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District 542nd Engineer Detachment, Forward Engineering Support Team – Advanced (FEST-A) were welcomed back from deployment by family and friends at the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport, Sept. 15.
