    Car Show at Canyon Lake

    DCA Hosts 4th Annual DAM FINE Car Show at Canyon Lake

    Hundreds of participants, spectators, vendors and volunteers assembled in Canyon Lake’s North Park Campground to show off their rides and talk with and meet other car enthusiasts. From a blue 1957 Chevy to a brand new blue 2021 Toyota GR Supra, and Cajun food to Texas Barbecue, the event had something to offer for everyone.

  • Westover Air Reserve Base breaks ground on one project, cuts ribbon on another

    The U.S. Army Corps Engineers Louisville District recently reached milestones for two projects located at the Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, Massachusetts. Construction is set to begin on the new Regional ISO Maintenance Hangar Project as work concludes on the Indoor Small Arms Range onsite.

  • Lesley Hill, Project Manager, Environmental Mitigation Program, OCTA, points out flora and fauna Sept. 16 at Trabuco Rose Preserve, a 396-acre parcel located in Trabuco Canyon. northwest of Rancho Santa Margarita, California It’s bordered by the Cleveland National Forest to the north and Trabuco Creek to the south, while Hickey Creek drains the western side.

    Corps partners with OCTA mitigation program to preserve Orange County natural habitats

    The case study, involving the Orange County Transportation Authority’s M2 Highway/Freeway Program, is a 30-year conservation planning and permitting program that began in 2005 and brought multiple local, state and federal agencies together.

    Versatility of Prime Power: 249th Engineer Battalion makes showing at 37th Annual International Lineman’s Rodeo

    Soldiers from the 249th Engineer Battalion, Prime Power, combined their military and professional skills to compete in the 37th International Lineman’s Rodeo at the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs, Kan., on Oct. 16, 2021. Teams and apprentices from all five companies within the battalion registered to compete: three active companies, Alpha Company, Bravo Company, Charlie Company and Higher Headquarters Company, and the battalion’s reservists, Delta Company.
