    Leading the way: Kansas Citys Levees Program

    Unless you work or live near the Missouri and Kansas Rivers, the significance of the rivers may not be at the forefront of your mind. It is, however, at the forefront of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District’s mind. The Kansas City District supports flood risk reduction on the Missouri and Kansas Rivers by delivering sustainable solutions to meet the ever-growing water resource needs of the Heartland and the nation.

    Senior dam safety program manager visits Prado Dam spillway project

    To get a first-hand look at Prado Dam and better understand upcoming modifications to its spillway, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ senior Dam and Levee Safety Branch program manager Travis Tutka toured the spillway, exterior and deep interior of the dam, March 9, at Corona, California.

    Park Ranger Workshop prepares Corps Rangers for upcoming recreation season

    LEBANON, Tenn. (March 15, 2023)— The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District held this year’s Nashville District Park Ranger Workshop March 7 – 9 at the Wilson County Schools Admin and Training Complex in Lebanon to plan for the 2023 recreation season.
