    SOUTH YANKTON, Neb. -- A group of ten boys and four counselors with the Bald Eagle Boys Camp of Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, navigate 1,000 miles of the Missouri River with help from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District.

    Innovating for the future: USACE uses sustainable building materials for JBLM barracks, enhances Army’s climate resiliency goals

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), U.S. Army I Corps, and Assistant Secretary of the Army leadership joined Washington State congressional representatives for an Aug. 7 groundbreaking ceremony on a first-of-its-kind barracks pilot program using sustainable building materials meant to reduce its carbon footprint. Once complete, the new barracks will improve the quality of life for 168 Soldiers at JBLM, Washington.

    The Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, has scheduled aerial mosquito treatment on August 10th, over the federal property on Craney Island.

    Dr. Todd S. Bridges, former senior research scientist for environmental science at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center's Environmental Laboratory, was recently inducted into the WES Gallery of Distinguished Civilian Employees.

    Construction Management Innovation Office uses AI to help build new online resource library for field staff

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Construction Management Innovation Office (CMIO) continues to look for ways to streamline and revolutionize proactive knowledge and process management for construction management professionals. Recently, the CMIO teamed up with the U.S. Army Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to efficiently create content within the new Construction Management Administration Application (CMA²).
