    Two Rangers leading the way by example at West Point

    One of the most demanding and challenging career fields in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is that of park ranger. Park Rangers work around the clock to keep our USACE parks open and safe for visitors and campers. Two West Point rangers who exemplify going above and beyond are Ben Williams, the chief ranger for Natural Resource Management, and Susan Cromer, the Recreation chief ranger.
  • St. Louis District’s Dr. John McEnery selected for ERDC University

    Dr. John McEnery, a Senior Hydraulic Engineer with the USACE St. Louis District, has been chosen as a participant for the 2024 session of the Engineer Research and Development Center University (ERDC-U).
  • Interagency collaboration improving major VA construction projects

    Currently, VA’s major medical construction program oversees 30 health care facility construction projects in the U.S., with a total value exceeding $14 billion. Earlier this summer, USACE and VA representatives united for a joint summit in Frederick, MD, to discuss strategic priorities including reinforcing the commitment to enhancing the national medical construction program.

The event, attended by family, friends, and distinguished guests, highlighted Lew’s exceptional service and potential for future leadership.
