    Huntsville Center's Medical Outfitting & Transition program contracted the purchase of new equipment, like the stationary free-standing BSL-3 biosafety cabinets, for use in the new $677 million U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease laboratory. The Center’s Medical O&T projects support the Army’s medical mission by equipping and transitioning staff and patients into new and renovated facilities.

    The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center Huntsville’s Medical Outfitting and Transition Program is assisting the U.S. Army Research Institute of Infectious Diseases relocate into the largest and most complex bio-contamination facility ever designed.

    Fort Riley leaders, partners break ground on energy saving contract

    This first phase of a multi-phased ESPC project at Fort Riley will provide $37,721,463 in facility improvements across 280 buildings.
  • Operations Division employees take the 30-hour course which provided an overview of OSHA general industry standards, while incorporating Corps-specific requirements with the overall goal of creating a safe work environment for contractor and Corps employees.

    In-house safety course saves Mobile District nearly $30,000

    The U.S. Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, trained 18 Operations Division employees in a week-long, in-house general industry safety course in Tuscaloosa, Ala., June 12-16, saving the district nearly $30,000, while also focusing on Corps-specific topics.
