    Abiquiu Lake staff hosted the first River Class of the 2017-2018 school year. The class is designed to get local fourth, fifth and sixth grade students interested in science and math through monthly visits to the Rio Chama below Abiquiu Dam.

    Mobile District Commander Col. James DeLapp was the key speaker Sept. 7 at the annual Alabama Water Resources Conference, or AWRC, in Orange Beach, Ala. DeLapp gave a presentation on the Mobile District and key water resource projects within the state of Alabama.
  • SunPower Contractors use a backhoe to loosen dirt surrounding a support base at Redstone Arsenal's future solar array site. The project, developed by Redstone Arsenal's Directorate of Public Works, the OEI and the Huntsville Center's Energy Division, is the first Power Purchase Agreement Program project solicited through the renewable and alternative energy Multiple Award Task Order Contract awarded by Huntsville Center in 2013.

    The solar array project, developed by Redstone Arsenal’s Directorate of Public Works, the Army Office of Energy Initiatives and Huntsville Center’s Energy Division, is the first Power Purchase Agreement project solicited through the renewable and alternative energy Multiple Award Task Order Contract awarded by Huntsville Center.
