    A typical day at Lock and Dam 5, near Minnesota City, Minn., turned into a quick reaction rescue for two of the district’s lock operators recently.

Kendal Bergmann, Programs Director Charles Ford and Tracy Edmonds, a project manager with the Center’s Army Central Metering program, participate in a strategic off site Dec. 3 at Lake Guntersville State Park Lodge in Guntersville, Alabama. The meeting allowed Center senior and emerging leaders to look over recent guidance from Headquarters U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and determine the direction of Huntsville Center within the paradigms set by the new USACE Campaign Plan.
