    Functional managers from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Transatlantic Division meet with Expeditionary District's leadership team, along with safety, engineering, quality control, and project managers, for a staff assistance visit at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, March 20-23, 2022.
  • Construction for Van Voorhis on track for 2024 completion

    The Van Voorhis Elementary School project site on Fort Knox, which is being managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District, is busy with crews operating heavy equipment to construct the new 104,000 square foot school that will replace the current 84,000 square foot facility. The $59.8 million construction contract, which began December 2021, had a sporadic start with inclement weather causing 23 days of delays.

  • Major General William Crane Visits Bluestone Dam

    Major General William Crane, WV National Guard, visit Bluestone Dam on March 16 to tour the dam and visit with the project staff. The WV National Guard assisted in helping USACE Command Sergeant Major Patrickson Toussaint travel to multiple projects during the CSM's short visit to the Huntington District.
