    Army mentors students on track to engineer careers

    Engineers help the Army and the nation in building structures, developing civil works programs, controlling waterways, working with natural resources, as well as providing combat support on the battlefield. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is one of the world's premier design and construction agencies, consisting of more than 30,000 civilian and 750 military engineers.

  • TV3 Winchester Report from USACE Deployment Center

    Two local news anchors/reporters from ABC affiliate TV3 Winchester visited the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Deployment Center to learn about changes in operations and talk with deployees.
  • Dawn King received CERL’s Administrative Support Achievement Award. The team of MacAllister and Mifflin won CERL’s Martha Blake Technical Support Achievement Award for their work on blast noise research. Theresa Kissane was named CERL’s Research Assistant of the Year.

    Employees Receive CERL Awards

    Paul Loechl, Michael Kemme, and Harold Balbach, all of Champaign, received the Award for Excellence in Operational Support from the Construction Engineering Research Laboratory.
