Amy Burin, commanding officer of Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic, along with Executive Director Steve Dunn, Facilities Manager Darrell Denaux and Energy Program Manager Tom Egbert accept a rebate check from South Carolina Electric and Gas (SCE&G) in the amount of $797,215 May 26 at the Naval Weapons Station - Joint Base Charleston. The check is a result of successful energy savings rebate initiatives under SSC Atlantic’s Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC)through Huntsville Center and SCE&G’s EnergyWise for your Business program.

    A U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) ensured Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center Atlantic (SSC Atlantic) received a rebate check from South Carolina Electric and Gas (SCE&G) in the amount of $797,215 May 26 at the Naval Weapons Station, Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina.

    High water impacts to Tulsa District Corps recreation areas

    The Tulsa District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today a list of temporary recreation closures due to high water from recent rain events in the district. This list will be updated as needed. Visitors should note that this is a dynamic situation and this information could change within a few hours depending upon rainfall. It is best to call the lake office to check on campsite and boat ramp availability or go to Recreation.gov before going to the lake.
