  • The 2015 U.S.-German Partnering Conference drew about 100 representatives from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District, its stakeholders and the German Construction Administration. The annual two-day session was held April 15-16 in Trier, Germany.

    New artifacts reveal more about Civil War life

    SAVANNAH, Ga. -- As archaeologists recover more CSS Georgia artifacts from the murky waters of the Savannah River, the day-to-day hardships of serving as a Confederate sailor are becoming clearer.
  • Officials cut the ribbon ceremonially marking the completion of the final phase of the Tucson Drainage Area/Arroyo Chico Multi-use Project at Tucson High School April 16. The $5 million segment was completed in 11 months and will greatly reduce flood risk for more than 1,000 residential, commercial and industrial structures with an assessed value of over $300 million.

    The High School Wash Box Culvert is the latest phase of the Tucson Drainage Area/Arroyo Chico Multi-use Project completed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District. This milestone was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony on the campus of Tucson High School April 16.
