    USACE, Pueblo of Isleta sign Tribal partnership agreement for Pottery Mound cultural preservation study

    The Albuquerque District and the Pueblo of Isleta entered a partnership agreement to begin a cultural preservation study for the historic Pottery Mound site, June 26, 2024.

    Honolulu District Earns Prestigious Army Safety Award

    The Honolulu District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, received the prestigious Army Safety and Occupational Health Star Award here June 28, 2024, recognizing the district’s successful implementation of the Corps of Engineers Safety and Occupation Health Management System.

    Buffalo and Louisville District to build USDA grape research facility

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District, attended a groundbreaking ceremony of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Grape Improvement Center (NGIC) at Cornell University’s AgriTech campus on June 26, 2024. The USDA-led project is slated to be a 70,000 square foot facility to house the USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Grape Genetics Research Unit and ARS Plant Genetic Resources Unit. In addition, four Cornell grapevine research projects will move into the research facility.

    RIBITS: Enhancing Transparency and Accountability in Compensatory Mitigation

    ALEXANDRIA, Va. – (June 27, 2024) RIBITS, an acronym for Regulatory In-lieu fee and Bank Information Tracking System, might sound technical, but its significance is simple: it's a public-facing website that tracks mitigation bank and in-lieu fee (ILF) program activities across the nation for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and other federal agencies.

    Norfolk District invites public to virtual change of command ceremony July 12
