    Big Dam Bridge facelift

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District and Pulaski County announce the commencement of a facelift project for the Big Dam Bridge. Crews from Pulaski County are currently pressure washing the bridge, using only water to ensure environmental safety.
  • Team members from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Southwestern Division Regional Planning and Environmental Center meet with enlisted personnel at U.S. Marine Corps Air Station Miramar. The meeting was part of a visioning workshop for future infrastructure development on the installation.

    JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – It’s rare to find individuals whose careers are marked by longevity and unwavering dedication. Yet, some professionals stand as pillars of stability and commitment. Vernon Boyd is one of those individuals, he recently celebrated a remarkable milestone—50 years of service with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).

  • Volunteers gather during a National Public Lands Day event Sept. 28 at Sepulveda Basin in Los Angeles. During the event, in further collaboration with the California Native Plant Society and the San Fernando Valley Audubon Society, volunteers created seed balls to encourage re-growth of native vegetation, picked up litter and participated in a nature/bird walk.
