    The Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program Update for Fiscal Year 2020 is now available online. This annual report provides information about progress the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is making in cleaning up sites with contamination resulting from the Nation’s early atomic energy program.   • Carters Handshake

    USACE Carters Lake Receives ‘Handshake Partnership’ Grant

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Project at Carters Lake is pleased to announce that it has been selected for a 2021 Corps of Engineers Handshake Partnership Program $25,000 grant.
  • The U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s Communications Infrastructure and Systems Support program, or CIS2, provided design and renovation support U.S. Army North’s Building 44.

    Huntsville Center CIS2 program supports Fort Worth District’s U.S. Army North renovation project

    The CIS2 program worked in concert with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Fort Worth District. The district is renovating several floors of U.S. Army North's Building 44 including the installation of Facility Communication Distribution Systems.
  • Life Jacket Loaner Station

    Life Jacket Loaner Station

    A life jacket is essential gear near or around water and is used for keeping a person afloat.  The Sutton Lake Project received Sea Tow Foundation Life Jackets for the 2020 boating season and built a Life Jacket Loaner Station.  The Sutton Lake Life Jacket Loaner Station was placed at Bee Run beach area to be available to anyone needing a life jacket.

    A look back: Clark’s 37 years of service

    Wildlife Biologist and Project Manager Randy Clark retired late last year after serving 37 years of federal service. To celebrate him, we will take a look back at his life and career to recognize him for everything he's done, not just for the Memphis District but also for our nation. Clark first started working for the federal government with the Nashville District in 1978 as a summer hire in the Environmental Analysis Branch. There he worked on Cultural Resources for the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway.
