    WINCHESTER, Va. — Donn Booker has been selected as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' newest member for the Senior Executive Service. The Federal Executive Service is comprised of the men and women charged with leading the continuing transformation of government. As a result of his SES appointment, Booker will serve as the Contingency Business Director for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Transatlantic Division (TAD).

  • People explore the new Large Vehicle Inspection Station before the station's ribbon-cutting ceremony May 4, 2012. The inspection station; construction of which was overseen by Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; will provide administrative and indoor inspection capabilities for commercial vehicles entering Joint Base Langley-Eustis. The 9,000-square foot inspection station will allow the Air Force to inspect all commercial traffic while preserving the primary entrance to the base for visitor and private vehicle entrance. The facility meets the minimum standards required to meet LEED Silver certification.

    Fort Campbell combat engineers learn Nashville District’s ‘civilian missions’

    NASHVILLE, TENN. (May 9, 2012) – Combat engineers of Fort Campbell’s 326th Engineer Battalion, 101st Airborne Division, adept at mine-clearing, demolition, and construction projects in a combat environment, visited the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District today to learn more about Corps “civilian missions” as part of their professional development.
