Beck departs Transatlantic Division to take command of the Corps of Engineers Southwestern Division

(P) Christopher Beck departed the organization for a new position as the Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Southwestern Division in Texas. The relinquishment of command ceremony is a time-honored tradition. It serves to ensure a unit and its personnel are never without "official" leadership. The ceremony occurs when one commander departs prior to a new commander taking command. TAD’s ceremony was hosted by Lt. Gen. Todd T. Semonite, the 54th Chief of Engineers and USACE Commanding General.
