AFGHANISTAN DISTRICT AT WORK

Every project, every program, and every task supports the warfighter every day.
That's the role of the Transatlantic Division (TAD) as it directly supports U. S. Central Command and other federal and partner agencies in a volatile operational area that spans the 20 countries of the Middle East and Central Asia.

There is a lot of beauty in the Afghanistan landscape and sometimes you have to just "Stop, and smell the roses."
The USACE Afghanistan District Logistics staff, known as S-4, nicknamed by their Chief as the "Fantastic 4", did just that. Stopped and smelled the roses at Bagram, while sporting their S-4 shirts.
The Logistics office manages everything from maintenance support, supply support, tracking cargo, managing the facilities, all the property and accountability of that property to coordinating travel.
This team provides logistics solutions and expertise in support of USFORA efforts to help build a stronger and stable Afghanistan.
They use a variety of resources to accomplish both specified and implied tasks, all associated with the District's mission in theater.
Their motto: USACE Logistics focuses its efforts on enabling lower costs, quality performance and on-time schedules
