Mosul Dam Task Force Commander Col. Philip Secrist and Italian Ambassador to Iraq Bruno Pasquino at Mosul Dam on Feb. 28, 2019 with members of the Italian army’s 187th Parachute Infantry Regiment’s Task Force Praesidium. TFP provided security at the dam site along with coalition forces from Iraq and the U.S. Army’s CJTF-Operation Inherent Resolve, protecting Iraq’s most critical water project while providing physical security support to the team of professionals working on the dam.
