AFGHANISTAN DISTRICT AT WORK

That is especially true here, where you make up a tremendous Team of Teams from across the depth and breadth of the Corps to deliver a complex program under the most challenging conditions.”
More than 70 participants attended the Senior Executive Power Governance meeting hosted by USACE Afghanistan, making great strides for creative and innovative solutions to meet the electrical needs of Afghanistan.
Soldiers make up a healthy portion of the USACE regiment, bringing discipline, leadership and devotion to the duty for which they are given the opportunity to engage in. The Afghanistan District was honored to share the same platform with a young Soldier with high caliber skills.
The Transatlantic Division Leadership was able to visit the Afghanistan District and be available for a few project site visits, seeing first-hand the construction efforts underway in theater by the USACE team.

The de Fleury Medal is one of the highest awards a member of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers can receive and is presented to only a few Soldiers every year.
